We are Michelle and Miranda Barnes, a mother-daughter team from Gainesville, Florida. Miranda now lives in St. Augustine, having graduated from Flagler College in 2024, but she still visits home as much as she can. She mostly creates 2D art prints, but has plans to expand to papercraft items such as hand-bound journals. She also loves to draw portraits of people and pets. Visit her portfolio website here.
Michelle has had many creative jobs throughout her life (visit her children's poetry website here), but she's currently focused on handmade collage greeting cards. This is partly to justify her stash of supplies, but also because paper collage is her happy place. (And her cat Zsu Zsu's happy place too—she loves to lie under the craft desk!)
We have always shared many personality traits, including creativity, so it just seemed inevitable that we'd start a creative business together. We're just beginning right now, but we have lots of exciting plans for the future. We hope to see you there!
